Transfer domain names from GoDaddy reseller to customer account

Scenario

You have a domain name registered at a customer account of a GoDaddy reseller (e.g. domains.digimix.co), and you need to transfer it into a customer account at GoDaddy.com.

Instructions

From the domain names panel

  1. Unlock: Select the domain name, click the lock icon, select unlock in the modal window. A confirmation email will be sent.
  2. Authorization Code: Click the domain name and proceed to the domain details page.
  3. Forward code to new owner
  4. They purchase transfer
  5. You get an email with transaction ID and email adress, and you forward it to the new owner
